ISWI Running Dinner 2007

Me, myself and Andi formed a team at this year's Running Dinner
That's a 3-course-dinner where you have every course at a different place and with different teams.

For starters we went to team "No Risk No Fun" consisting of Heidi and Ronny. Heidi is a Feng Shui conultant (do you call it that?) and Ronny is the owner of a disco here. They prepared a soup (with champignons, leek and mincemeat) and tomato salad plus baguettes.. yummy! My belly was already full.. but we had 2 more courses coming..

As main dish Timur and Thomas (team "Die Glückspilze") served Plov (or Plow).. that's rice and meat with champignons, vegetables and -at least in this case- raisins.. very tasty, too :)

Then it was our turn - the dessert.
We provided our guests with a Shirley Temple, candy apples, chocolate "muffins" and mousse au chocolat (formed as a turd for Andi really really really wanted it like that)..
one of each was a "special treat".. for example Katja had semolina under the mousse au choc and Anja had a candy worm in the apple..

Why? well..

What the other dessert-teams didn't remember was the team name of Andi and me - "Arsen und Spitzenhäubchen" (Arsenic And Old Lace)..
so when they finished dessert we made them lift their plates..
where they found their little death certificates including a description of the cause of death aka a hint about which dish "killed" them..
So Katja's semolina was "Arsenic In The Turd" and Anja's candy worm-apple caused "Severe Snow White's Syndrom"..


And the moral of the story:
Always read your emails carefully and never trust strangers.. escpecially when they invite you to dinner ;)
